- Slide requests should be sent no later than midnight on Sunday. Any request made after this time cannot be guaranteed to be ready by Wednesday. If you are still “tweaking”, please send what you have. Last minute changes can be accommodated easier than sending all the slides late on Tuesday.
- Slide requests should be emailed to ccwbs31@gmail.com.
- Pictures, video clips, etc. can be sent as attachments to your email. Please include any special instructions. Please include your phone number in case we have any questions.
- Pictures should be in img or jpg (jpeg) format if possible; PDF will work if necessary. If a picture can’t be sent in one of these formats and it is something you found online, please send the URL (the http address at the top of the page) with an explanation of what you want to use.
- Movie clips from YouTube can be sent by copying and pasting the entire URL into the body of your email. If you do not want the entire clip to run, please indicate beginning and ending points (ex. Please start clip at 1:21 and stop clip at 2:00).
- Text slides (talking points, quotes and sayings, Bible verses, etc.) that are not cut and pasted from an online source should be sent as a Word document (or whatever text editor you use). If you want a Bible verse, please include which translation you are using or prefer (NRSV, The Message, KJV, CEB, etc.).
- Please do not send PowerPoint slides or files without talking to Carol. These are handled differently than regular slides.
- Please include a script or outline of your talk indicating where the slides should appear. Just FYI: files sent from iPads or iPhones are sometimes difficult for Windows/Google to handle. We may ask you to send them in an alternate format. If that happens, please work with us. We will try our best to get it done.
- If you want to add anything to the slides that is not covered here, sending it earlier is key (a week or so). We do not promise it will make it to the presentation but we will try our best to make it work; if not, we will let you know ahead of time.
- This is optional: If you are giving a lesson and you don’t have any slides, we could work on a couple of slides to go with your presentation if you send us your talk early, just something to enhance your lesson for the visual learners.
- Our devotionals and talks are uploaded to our YouTube channel. If you have not signed a release form please see the Administrative table to get one. If you do not wish for your devotional or talk to be posted please let us know.
